From Algiers to Beirut is a video installation consisting of several short videos working as a back and forth correspondence between Sirine Fattouh and Leïla Saadna. In this dialogue, they explore the complex and fraught relationship that links them to their respective countries, how it has impacted some choices they have made in the past and are still making, and how it has framed their identities.

This project is engaged with questions related to displacement and immigration, identity and belonging, but also experiences of discrimination like sexism, racism, homophobia and the intersectionality that can link them.
