Entre les ruines (Among Ruins), 2007

Filmed in Bint Jbeil shortly after the 2006 war, the work brings together a dancer and a devastated landscape.

A body moves through the ruins. The gesture carries tension, oscillating between presence and fragility. Performed by a male dancer, a form traditionally associated with a female body is displaced, shifting the relationship between movement and its surroundings. The image is accompanied by five different soundtracks, presented successively.
