Beirut Mutations, photomontage from scanned Film photographs, 60 x 40 cm, Mounted on Dibond, Aluminium Frames, Lebanon, 2015.

For the past year, the city of Beirut has been changing rapidly. Old buildings are being destroyed and replaced by high-rises ones, the city has become a huge construction site. Fattouh assembled discordant buildings and created absurd panoramas, she chooses to create images that suits her perception of a city that is consuming itself.
