Seven-screen video installation
Production: Arab Fund for Arts and Culture. Postproduction : Institut français du Liban.
The work is structured around filmed games of backgammon between the artist and seven individuals living in exile from Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq.
Filmed from above, the camera frames only the hands and the game. Faces remain out of view. Fragments of conversation emerge between moves, through pauses, gestures, and shifts in rhythm. The game becomes a shared space where personal histories appear indirectly.
Seven screens integrated into tables, with seating and headphones.
Languages: Arabic and French, with subtitles.
