Performance at the Fort Saint-Jean on the 4th and 5th of June 2016, MUCEM, Marseille, France.
As part of this performance, Sirine Fattouh borrows sequences from several Lebanese films with which she identifies a common experience. Each film is related to the wars in Lebanon and their impact on civil society.
She uses a specific protocol where the images and sounds are untied. In doing so, she emphasizes the words of others and allows the imagination to unfold in all its intensity. Putting forward “presentation” (being in the present moment, in a direct relation) rather than the “representation”, she returns the words of others into a personal experience.

Performance on the 30th of January at the Fondation d'Entreprise Ricard, Paris, France.
In this performance presented at the Fondation d'Entreprise Ricard in Paris, Sirine Fattouh edited the films and videos she used during her first show in Marseille in which she tells a story of the wars of Lebanon and their impact on civil society. Fattouh is no longer in front of the public but behind them and embodies the voiceover of the films and videos of which she chose to use certain sequences.
